During the summer of 2018, the national Jobs for Life (JfL) staff joined together with a group of ministries, community partners, and business leaders to host a JfL class in downtown Raleigh, NC. In addition to serving individuals who were struggling with unemployment and underemployment, the class also provided an opportunity for the national staff to gain a deeper insight into the mission and vision of JfL, as well as learn new, creative ideas on how to best support ministry leaders moving forward. The experience is helping to shape JfL’s vision and strategy for the new year and beyond.
We invite you to dive into the stories that arose from this class, meet the men and women whose lives were impacted, and uncover the fundamental truths we discovered along the way.
